JEWELRY CARE
The jewelery should not only be beautiful, but also of high quality and unique. We therefore attach great importance to the quality, the selection of materials and the longevity of the jewelery when producing our jewellery. The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority, which of course requires high quality standards.
Here you will find our Hi-Life tips to-go for perfect jewelery care at a glance, which will always make your jewelery look beautiful and of high quality:
- Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or pouch
- You should not store your jewelry in the bathroom or other humid places
- Direct contact with body creams, body spray, hair spray, nail polish remover or perfume should be avoided
- Chemicals, high heat, salt water and chlorine can be harmful to jewelry
- You can use a wool cloth for daily cleaning
- In order to maintain the longevity of the jewelry, we recommend that you remove your jewelry before exercising or showering
Our jewelry is made of different materials. Each material requires individual care. In the following you will find out how you can best care for and store your favorites!
How do I care for which material?
For the perfect care of your silver jewelry, we recommend using a clean, soft woolen cloth. You can also use a silver cleaning cloth for thorough care.
It is recommended to clean the silver jewelry with a toothbrush and washing-up liquid. For this you need a bowl with lukewarm water and a few drops of mild detergent. Then you should scrub your jewelry with a soft toothbrush. Then dry your jewelry with a soft cloth. This cleaning method can make your silver favorites sparkle.
Stainless steel jewelry is very popular these days. The reasons for this are that stainless steel is very robust, rust- and nickel-free and skin-friendly. The jewelry made of stainless steel is durable and does not stain. If your stainless steel jewelery still needs care, we recommend gentle cleaning with a soft cloth.
Our pieces of jewelry, which are made of copper, are multiply 18 carat gold plated. The "tarnishing" and discoloration of the jewelry is unimaginable due to the high-quality processing of the jewelry. Despite this, there is nothing to be said against regular care of the jewelry to maintain its shine. These pieces of jewelery can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth or cleaned in lukewarm water using a soft toothbrush and mild detergent. However, the cleaning must not be too aggressive.
For thousands of years, gold has been the preferred material for making jewellery. Gold jewelry does not oxidize and can easily come into contact with water. For daily cleaning of your gold jewelry, we recommend using a soft cloth. Clean your 14K Golden Favorites gently and not too aggressively. Please make sure that you dry your jewelery well after cleaning.
MORE TIPS
Your jewelry deserves a nice and dry place. Proper jewelry storage provides jewelry protection. If the jewelry is stored in a pretty jewelry box, it looks all the more beautiful.
We recommend storing your Hi-Life favorites as dry and airtight as possible. Therefore, please do not store your jewelry in the bathroom or in damp places. Either jewelry boxes or soft jewelry pouches are recommended.
Every lady has her favorites that she never wants to part with. So that your favorites receive the perfect care, we would like to recommend a few points:
-Don't put on your jewelry until you're done styling. The jewelry is sensitive to chemicals. We therefore recommend that you avoid direct contact with cosmetics such as skin creams, hairspray, body spray, nail polish remover or perfumes.
-You can take off your jewelry when you sleep. This allows your jewelry to recover.
-Jewelry and chlorine or salt water are not friends. We therefore recommend that you take off your jewelry when swimming or in the sea.
-Jewelry should generally be removed before sport so that the risk of injury can be averted. In addition, the sweat attacks silver, gold and stainless steel and is a sport muffle.
-Always clean your jewelry with a soft cleaning cloth or in lukewarm water. The daily shower does not replace jewelry cleaning.
These were our Hi-Life tips and tricks for the regular care of your jewelry. Take care of your favourites, keep them safe and treat them with care.
